Outland Renewable Energy, LLC announced that it has signed a reservation agreement with Siemens Power Generation to supply 200 megawatts (MW) of Siemens’ 2.3-megawatt wind turbines.

Linde Nippon Sanso (LNS) has signed a contract to supply Austria’s first solar cell manufacturing plant. LNS has an exclusive contract to supply Blue Chip Energy GmbH in with all of the gases needed to make solar cells.

Vestas has received an order for 55 units of the V82-1.65 MW from Duke Energy. The turbines, which have a total installed capacity of 91 megawatts, will be delivered as the first phase of the Notrees Windpower project, located in Ector and Winkler counties in Texas.
