Denmark’s Vestas (VWS.CO: Quote, Profile, Research), the world’s biggest maker of wind turbines, said on Monday it won a 180 megawatt turbine order for a project in the United States. The order is for 109 units of its 1.65 megawatt V82 turbine to be installed by 2009 for the North American division of E.ON (EONG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research).
